How to work the inbox
Open a thread
Choose a client on the left to read the chat. Press j to open the first thread.
Check the 24-hour window
Replies inside the 24-hour window are free. Outside it, the desk sends an approved template first. You can always reply from your phone. Meta charges for templates. See Meta’s price list.
Review form videos
Open a video, check the exercise it is linked to, and press Mark reviewed. Then reply, or reply with a drill.
What the inbox shows
Unread counts
Each thread shows how many messages are waiting for you. Unread chats also show on Home.
Video flags
A Video flag marks a thread with a form video you have not reviewed. Mark the video reviewed to clear it.
Replies in sync
Reply from the desk or from your phone. Both stay in sync through Meta’s Coexistence feature. Some chat features stop. See the questions below.
Plain answers.
Do group chats show in the inbox?
No. Group chats still work on your phone, but they do not show on the desk. Your one-to-one chats with clients do.
What stops when I connect my number?
In one-to-one chats, disappearing messages, view-once photos and live location stop. Broadcast lists stop updating. Calls still work on your phone.
How often must I open the WhatsApp Business app?
At least once every two weeks. A normal week of coaching keeps the link alive. Meta cuts the link to the desk if your phone stays inactive for 14 days. Fittenger warns you at day 10.
Does Fittenger reply to clients for me?
No. Fittenger never answers clients for you. It sends only what you write or schedule, booking confirmations, and a booking link when a client asks.
